Because of the early date set for the
2012 London Olympic Games, World Rowing Cups will be
held three weeks earlier than usual (1st World Rowing
Cup – Belgrade, 4-6 May; 2nd World Rowing Cup – Lucerne,
25-27 May; 3rd World Rowing Cup – Munich, 15-17 June).
The Memorial Paolo d'Aloja International Regatta could
be a good test for crews and many nations have already
expressed their interest to participate. That is why a
high level of competition is expected.
Piediluco
Development Camp
As with the two past editions,
the regatta will be preceded by a FISA development
training camp.
The Italian Rowing Federation and the Organising
Committee of the Memorial Paolo d’Aloja regatta will
assist the FISA Development Training Camp with the
invitation of 40 athletes selected from FISA Development
Department for a 10 day stay in Piediluco from 5th to
15th of April 2012. |
